In 1970, Gerhard Rauch started as a one-man operation in a garage in Vienna, performing profile grinding work for tools and mechanical engineering.
Seven years later, the first company building was constructed in Vienna-Liesing. The number of employees grew steadily, and the branch was continuously expanded until 1990.
However, the company's continued growth soon led to its limitations. Therefore, in 1995, a second location was built in Trasdorf, Lower Austria, on a 20,000 m² site. Since then, highly motivated and well-trained employees, using state-of-the-art production facilities, have ensured excellent quality and high flexibility.
To ensure this continues in the future, several apprentices are hired each year. Training and professional development are a top priority for the entire company.
